Paraphrased from the skins ReadMe.txt ...
Visual Boy Advance is the most popular Game Boy Advance emulator ever written. The emulator was coded by Forgotten and includes a basic skin feature that allows users to customize the appearance of the emulator through the use of skins.
The last official release of Forgotten's VBA Emulator was version 1.7.2 and can still be obtained from the VBA home page [link]
There is a 1.8.0 Beta 3 version of VBA with additional skinning options released in October 2005 that is much harder to locate. There are only 2 official locations to get the 1.8.0 Beta 3 version of VBA that I'm aware of, the VBA-M forum and the direct link from the VBA homepage, the one from VBA-M is supposed to have been compiled after the Beta 3 and include additional bug fixes but has a lower version number than the Beta 3 from the home page, both work perfectly fine though![]()
VisualBoy Advance 1.8.0 Beta 3 was the last version of VBA that was made with the skin function and is available from the VisualBoy Advance homepage or from this link [link]
These are the skins I created, most of them are from back then and I thought I would put them up so they don't get lost forever ...
